You won't believe how many times I have put this webapage together in my mind... Dozens?!... Nah... not nearly enough. Hundreds for sure! Maybe thousands! But, with an attention span of a two year old, I never followed through. I have been over and over the stuff in my mind several times! Debated stuff for hours... probably to the point that I am a master debater! Never really followed through. But here it is now!! I am gonna lay my heart, my soul, and my mind all out here. For you.... my friends....
Let me introduce myself to you.. my name is Wade Ratliff and I am just me. Nothing more, nothing less. I realized the other day that I have won awards for my writing back in the day, but that was P.S.!! (Pre stroke.) So now my ability to concentrate has crumbled to the point that I usually don't even know where my phone is at any time. Since knowing where my phone is IS NOT a prerequisite to be able to write; I hope I will be able to muddle my way through this.
I was born in California and I was the fifth of 5 kids. My nearest in age brother was in 12th grade while I was in kindergarten. My second oldest brother was my idol; as he was an one of the best athletes I have ever known. He was the one who nicknamed me "Bonzo"! So blame him for this!!
I didn't ever go by Bonzo except for those first 5 years of life so that is why I call this Back To Bonzo! I am getting back to that place! Back to the basics... back to the black and white............... back to Bonzo!
This will be a bumpy ride for sure... I will say some stuff that you might disagree with and that's okay. You will most likely be wrong but that's okay! So let's see what The Bonz has on his mind...
